CASES

What people take to court

Small fights, taken very seriously. Pick one to try it in the courtroom below.

COURTROOM

The courtroom

A pocket version of the court that runs in this page. The real app hands both filings to an AI judge; here the judges only weigh evidence, detail, sweeping words, admissions and agreements, so every case is instant and free.

Plaintiff

One item per line, up to 9. Each side sees the other’s only after both have filed.

Defendant

One item per line, up to 9. Each side sees the other’s only after both have filed.

BENCH

The bench

Six animal judges. Each rules on their own and never sees another judge’s verdict; on appeal they read only the first judgment. They differ in tone and in what they weigh most. Judge Slowpoke and Judge Hop are free; the other four are a one-time unlock.

Judge SlowpokeSenior judgeSlow down. The facts aren’t going anywhere.Slowest and steadiest. Lines up the timeline before ruling.
Judge HopFast-track judgeThree sentences and I’ll rule.Shortest judgments, sharpest point.
Lord MeowPresiding judgeEvidence, please. I only look at evidence.A little sharp-tongued, never unfair. Can’t stand claims without proof.
Judge WoofMediating judgeHug first, then we’ll talk about who’s right.Cares most about the relationship and writes the most heartfelt make-up plans.
ChirpLogic judgeThat doesn’t match what you said a minute ago.Catches contradictions and exaggerations. Made for he-said, she-said cases.
Chief Justice BearChief justiceThis court’s judgment is the final judgment.Stern but warm. Best on the bench for a final appeal.
FEATURES

What’s in the app

File a case in a minuteName the fight, invite the other side with a link or QR code, and both of you file a statement.
Evidence, revealed togetherUp to 9 photos or notes each. Neither side sees the other’s until both have filed, so nobody tailors their story.
Written or live hearingRule on paper, or hold a live voice hearing in seven stages with push-to-talk, a spoken judge and a clerk who keeps minutes. Now or scheduled.
Two instances, then finalThe losing side may appeal within 24 hours to a different judge. Upheld, partly reversed or reversed.
A verdict you can’t fakeEvery judgment carries a SHA-256 fingerprint signed by the court, a QR code and a seal. Export it as an image or PDF.
Medals for good conductMetal medals in the style of fitness awards, earned from real cases: first win, comeback on appeal, handshake draw.
A public jury (planned)If both sides agree, let anonymous strangers review the case at random. If 90% of at least 20 jurors disagree, the judge admits error and the ruling is reversed.
VERIFY

Verify a verdict

Every verdict carries a fingerprint and the court’s signature. Change a single character and the check fails. The app’s overseas version will also notarize the fingerprint on Bitcoin, so it stays verifiable for the long run, even without us.

Sample verdict · Case 730120

Whose turn was the dishes

An agreement about the dishes, and a pan still in the sink.

Presiding: Judge Slowpoke

Anti-forgery code 5683-5EA3-8D37-8A93

The sample is signed with a demo key, not the court’s key. It runs entirely in your browser. A fingerprint and a timestamp prove where a verdict came from and that it hasn’t changed. They don’t make it legally binding.

HOW

How a case goes

  1. File: name the fight and pick a judge.
  2. Invite: send the other side a link or QR code.
  3. Plead: both sides write a statement and attach up to 9 pieces of evidence.
  4. Hear: on paper, or live by voice, now or at a set time.
  5. Rule: the judge finds the facts, splits the blame and suggests how to make up.
  6. Appeal: the losing side has 24 hours; the second instance is final.
